Patrick J. Ducharme has been selected by his peers to be included in 2008 Woodward and White's "The Best Lawyers in Canada". In the Province of Ontario, only 31 criminal defence lawyers are included in this exclusive group. He was called to the bar in Ontario in 1977. A frequently invited speaker in matters of criminal law, procedure and advocacy, Mr. Ducharme has given continuing legal education presentations for the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Centre for Advocacy Training. Since 1982, he has been the sessional lecturer in Criminal Procedure, Evidence and Trial Advocacy, Faculty of Law, University of Windsor. Mr. Ducharme practices, almost exclusively, in the areas of criminal law and procedure and sports law.
