weighty obligations to provide environmentally clean, safe and healthy workplaces. An essential feature
of this Department are the proactive, preventative programs the lawyers provide for and at corporations
to ensure that these corporations are meeting their duty of "due diligence" in relation to their
obligations under such statutes as the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the
Environmental Protection Act.
